WHEN I GROW UP - Boykin Spaniel This is the first in a series of sporting dog prints that will depict an adult dog along with an admiring pup. The Boykin Spaniel print shows a beautiful representation of the Boykin Spaniel breed with a retrieved dove. The pup at his side, with a small dove feather in the corner of his mouth, is possibly dreaming of the day when he will be working the dove fields too.
This artwork was featured on the cover of the Fall, 2004 issue of the Dove Sportsman's Society's magazine. It was also featured on the February, 2004 issue of BLOODLINES Magazine, a publication of the United Kennel Club.
This print has been lithographed in full color on museum-quality, 100 # paper stock. It measures approximately 14" high by 17" wide. The edition size is 425 prints along with 25 Artist's Proofs. Each print is signed and numbered by Robert W. Hickman. |
